About the role

Immigration Caseworker — Greater London. Self-employed profit-share role, not a wage. You keep 30% of every case KJ Immigration routes to you. We handle enquiry, KYC and pricing with the client; you own the case from evidence bundle to submission. You'll handle Skilled Worker applications, Spouse and Family visas, Student and Graduate route work, and Settlement (ILR / EUSS) applications. You'll run initial client interviews, build evidence bundles, draft cover letters, submit applications through the correct portals, and track decisions. Cases are allocated via the KJ portal with the client profile, target route, evidence checklist and priority. Ticket varies widely by route (£400 straightforward extension up to £2,500+ for a full Skilled Worker with dependants), and repeat/referral rate is high. Suits an experienced OISC/IAA-regulated caseworker who wants a steady flow of instructions without carrying practice overhead. Not for anyone without an OISC/IAA authorisation appropriate to the work — this is regulated advice.

Responsibilities

  • Interview clients and build a full evidence bundle to route requirements
  • Draft cover letters and supporting statements
  • Submit applications through UKVI portals and third-party front ends
  • Track decisions and manage RFI / additional-evidence requests
  • Log case activity accurately in the KJ portal (regulated audit trail)
  • Escalate complex or out-of-scope matters to the KJ regulated senior caseworker
  • Follow AML/KYC, client care and complaints procedures
  • Complete required CPD hours annually

Requirements

  • Current OISC / IAA authorisation at appropriate level for the work handled
  • Recent UK immigration casework experience (Points-Based, Family or Settlement)
  • Excellent written English
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Smartphone / laptop for the KJ portal

How working with KJ actually works

From apply to first paid job — four honest steps

  1. 1

    Apply in 60 secs

One tap on this page. No CV wall, no cover letter. Just your name, trade and coverage area.

  2. 2

    Sign your KJ contract

Plain-English self-employed profit-share agreement — 25–50% of job value depending on the role. E-signed. No tie-in, no exclusivity trap.

  3. 3

Log in to the KJ Portal

See the jobs allocated to you: address, scope, customer notes, agreed price. Accept the ones you want, decline the ones you don't.

  4. 4

Do the work, get paid your share

Complete the job, mark it done in the portal. KJ invoices the customer. Your share lands on the regular payment cycle — no chasing, no unpaid quotes.

The KJ Portal is rolling out through 2026 — until then, early hires are onboarded and dispatched directly by the KJ ops team. Same profit-share, same transparency.

Why KJ, not a company job

A plumber does 3–4 jobs a day; a surveyor 2–4; a solicitor a handful of matters. The client pays hundreds — often thousands. You take home a fraction. The company keeps the rest.
